Wilton Stamp Company was established by Ron and Sue Goldberg in 1987 in scenic Wilton, New Hampshire. 

It was a full decade past the stamp collecting heyday of the 1970s, and the time seemed far from ideal for beginning a

Stamps on Approval business.  

Yet they believed that if they provided stamp collectors with exceptional service, attention to detail, and their personal honesty, that this plane could fly.  Against all odds, and to the genuine surprise of all who knew them, it worked.

Mike joined Mom and Dad in 1989.  Donna got a two-fer deal when marrying Mike in 1997, Mike and Wilton Stamp

(lucky gal!).  She brought with her talents and lessons  learned during her time in her own parents’

fine art and antiques shops. 

It was Ron and Sue in the front room, Mike and Donna in the back, until 2003, when the roles were reversed and Mike took the reigns.  Ron and Sue are spending their retirement years analyzing, cataloging, and preparing many of the sets we send out here at Wilton, more than twenty-five years after "they" said it couldn't be done.
